Welcome to AI Note Lab
Hi there. AI Note Lab is where I study artificial intelligence, try things out for myself, and document the whole process one note at a time.
There's a flood of AI news and new products out there, but very few places that patiently answer the questions that actually matter: "Okay, but what is this?" and "What should I do with it?" So I built one myself. This isn't a researcher's paper or an ad trying to sell you something — it aims to be the honest record of one real user.
What you'll find here
- AI Basics — Concepts like artificial intelligence, machine learning, and LLMs, explained with analogies and examples. The rule: anyone should be able to read these with zero background knowledge.
- Reviews — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, image generators, and more. I use each tool thoroughly before writing, and I record the downsides right alongside the upsides.
- Tips — Concrete ways to put AI to work in your job and daily life, plus the precautions you need to use it safely.
My ground rules
- I never review anything I haven't used myself.
- I write about the flaws as much as the strengths. No sponsored posts, no ads in disguise.
- Jargon always gets explained in plain language.
- AI moves fast, so older posts are clearly dated and updated when needed.
Where to start
If you're new to AI, I recommend starting with What Is AI? and reading in order from there. If you've already used a chatbot, How to Write Better Prompts and Using AI at Work will be immediately useful.
If you spot a mistake or there's a topic you'd like me to cover, please let me know anytime. Like any set of notes, this site grows a little at a time.
